With reclaimed maple flooring throughout the open plan living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa and leather armchair, coffee table, painted pine cupboard and large refectory table with bench seating. There is also WiFi, Smart TV with Amazon Prime, games, jigsaw puzzles and books, as well as local maps and guides.
The well equipped kitchen area has a range of painted storage cupboards with worktop, dishwasher, microwave, cooker with ceramic hob, under counter fridge. Freezer space available in the adjoining barn.
Recessed area with antique pitch pine glass fronted storage cupboard. A passageway leads to the double bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables with Anglepoise lamps and an antique chest of drawers. Door to rear garden.
Off the passageway is the bright and modern bathroom, bath with Aqualisa shower over, basin with mirror, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside
Daubeney Cottage has a pretty walled garden on two sides with climbing roses, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Garden furniture, bench are all provided. From the rear garden a wooden gate leads to the adjoining Granary where a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board are available for guest use. Secure storage for bicycles in the adjoining barn.
The cottage is set on a quiet lane in the centre of the peaceful village of Sharrington. Sharrington is a great location as it is central to so many places – the coast at Morston, Blakeney and Cley. The pretty town of Holt is just three miles. Inland there are quiet country lane’s to explore, perfect for cycling and walking. Well known Back to the Garden farm shop and cafe is just down the road as is Sharrington Strawberries.
